Global Brigades - Environmental Brigades

June 2012

Through Global Brigades, I visited a rural Panama community Piriati and implemented environmentally sustainable projects within the village. My group and I educated the village on sustainable agriculture, reforestation and waste management. We also researched environmental needs and helped with organic agricultural development, building families greenhouses and planting gardens.

Delta Delta Delta

2010 - 2013

As a Founding Mother, I assisted in the development and initial growth of the Tri Delta chapter at Chapman University. I held leadership positions including Vice President of Membership, Reference Chair and Chapter Correspondent. Through those positions, I organized recruitment and facilitated workshops teaching interpersonal skills. I also maintained chapter relationships with members studying abroad, campus organizations and businesses through newsletters. Each year, I helped raise funds for local charities and our philanthropy St. Jude Children's Hospital, raising over $50,000 within two year.
